The Hills episode 4

I’ve missed the last couple episodes. Been out of town and whatnot, but I was able to catch part of the latest episode rerun late last night. Here’s some notes.
Overall show is annoying me how slow and painful it is to watch at times. Then I remember I’m wathing Lauren Conrad and her hot self run around LA for a tv show and I’m okay. Heidi took center stage in parts of the episode I watched. It was the first day of school and Heidi blew it as she seems to have a knack of doing. She skips her class because she decided being and hour late isn’t worth going. I would agree with her except for the fact it’s the first day. Show up no matter what just to get the info you need to start off good. So she hangs around the awesome looking FIDM lounges. SIDE NOTE: I’m sure FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) doesn’t mind that Lauren goes to school and brings the cameras along. I’m sure Teen Vogue loves the extra media attention aswell.
Right before the commercial break and the last part that I saw was Heidi talking to her BF and she “totally knows that she knows what to do or not.” It turns out she knows she isn’t meant to go to school of any kind. I don’t know if she got her job or not, yet we will see soon enough.

You know, I was ready to rip the show apart every week and have lots and lots to talk about. But it really has been so boring that I lost interest. Maybe with Jason coming back in the picture it will get a bit better. I am a Kristin fan and I know if they followed her around for even a day- that show would be hot. Lauren- is just not cutting it for me!

Yeah, soon we’ll soon see how things pan out. Kristen is cool, but I just got sick of listening to her voices… sounds like she has a cold all the time.

Heidi is the dumbest most pathetic waste of space I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Where do girls like this come from? Her parents must be really proud that they successfully raised a lazy, self-centered idiot. Hopefully she will spend the rest of the episodes stuffing envelopes somewhere so we don’t have to suffer through one more second of her mind numbing dialogue.

I was a Kristan fan mainly but started to admire Lauren for her maturity and they way she handled things no matter what issue she faced on Laguna.
I have enjoyed watching this series so far. I wish the shows were longer, it seems right when I get all excited the show lets me down when it is over.
Jason, I am not sure about him. He seems to be the kind of guy who has to cause chaos, and when it’s normal he is restless. He certainly is handsome and I saw the “look of intensity” between them at the table on yesterday’s show…I am sure they will be a passionate couple, but can he stay a one woman man?
Heidi…I like her personality, but she has no direction in life. Does she think life doesn’t involve any work? It’s either going to take her a few years to realize she needs to get serious to move forward in life or she is going to have to find a wealth husband and not work at all. She has a great face reminds me of Alicia Silverstone. She would be great in movies.
Overall the show is great. I really like the whole concept because letting go Laguna was not easy so at least I can still see a small part of that again.

I agree the episodes are way too short (just like Laguna was). Lauren was always so put together on Laguna but now always looks tired (I guess like a normal college student) with bad hair & left over eye makeup. I have never liked Jason (he always seems to be on serious meds) I would rather see Stephen enter the picture, though Jason is always sure to add Drama!
Heidi if f-ing hilarious (Jessica Simpson style). Lazy, dumb as a stump and spoiled (but was that a Saturn she was driving in Episode 4? wtf) That boyfriend of hers is a lazy excuse of a man, who is he and what do his parents do to pay for him to live in The Hills and do nothing?
All of the adults in the show seem very akward in front of the camera. Especially Lisa Love, by the way, why did the stylist tell the interns to always look their best when they go into Lisa’s office? Its Teen Vogue and Lisa needs a makeover.
Can’t wait to see how Heidi’s job plays out. Hopefully Jason won’t be around long and maybe other Laguna’ers will make an appearance. Four stars for this series!
