Season 3 Episode 2 - Big Girls Don’t Cry

I hope you are all as happy as I am that Audrina is a bigger part of the show. She was virtually absent last season. Now we get to follow her around and her escapades. This time it was her date with Justin the dude from her past who also abandoned her in Las Vegas. Lo popped up for a little part of the show I haven’t seen Lo on tv for a long time. She’s the best. Back to Justin aka “Bobby Justin.” or “Justin Bobby” but I like Bobby Justin better so we’ll use that instead.
Totally awkward moment between Audrina and Lauren when they were supposed to go out after Audrina and Bobby Justins dinner date. That sucked but what are ya gonna do… sometimes you gotta do what you feel and hope your friends are alright.
Onto other things… I appreciate Brody Jennings saying “I’m not stupid enough to get married at 23, you are.” Spencer then proceeded to purchase “some bling” and ripped up the receipt and gave it back saying “no returning this.” Then the big romantic weekend came and we got to see the rather simple and not so romantic proposal on the beach. It just didn’t seem like that amazing of a moment watching it on tv, I’m sure it was for them.
So now, Heidi and Spencer are engaged. Congrats I think.
Audrina is having a tough time deciding on a boyfriend. Its pretty crazy that she’s been single for so long. Go for it Audrina, it’ll only hurt for so long if things go bad but it could be good.
Perfect ending to the show - except for Lauren being single. Nice montage of all the ‘couples,’ Audrina had Bobby Justin, Heidi and Spencer. Now Lauren has to find a guy to make her life just a hectic as the rest.
What do you guys think about Heidi and Spencer getting engaged?

I’m not so sure about Spencer and Heidi’s engagement because he did get Heidi out of her apartment to be away from Lauren. He’s aso hypocritical. He wants Lauren out of Heidi’s life, but he wanted her at the house warming. Seriously this dude needs to make up his mind. Another reason why I do not believe in this engagement because a friend of mine told me that she read an interview with Brody and Spencer and that these two Hills guys were trying to be famous like other rich kids that don’t do anything, for instance Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton. She said in the article, Brody and Spencer try to put themselves in the spotlight where they are seen by the parparazzi or by the media somehow. Now that I think about it, I think Spencer is his manager telling him who Brody should and should not date for fame and vice versa. I think Spencer is a sham. I don’t think he really does care for Heidi. And ripping up that receipt was all for the camera.

I think that Heidi is completely brainwashed just like Lauren said. I also think that Lauren is taking a little far in the her Heidi and Spencer thing. Don’t get me wrong I love Lauren i’m on your side always, but i think if u just talked to her one on one and tell her exactly what she did which was horrible and one of the worst things a friend can do, u would get it off ur chest and you never know what could happen after. Ofcourse it’s not going to be all good but it might be a little better. Heidi is a very gullable person and falls for anything that loser says which is sad to watch. It’s just sad that Spencer got between such a good friendship. I never let a guy ruin my friendship with my besties, but that’s just all of us, and i’m sorry that happended to Lauren.

Engagement - Bad Idea!!! Spencer is a liar and a two timer!! And it’s all on tape. Why Heidi is still with him - I have no idea? Does she think he’s going to change just cause he’s married? I hope they get pre-marital counseling. Spencer isn’t even cute.

Elodie is a big hypacrite, dont let her fool you for a second with her advice. She cancelled out on her best friends wedding two days before. Who is she to give wedding advice? She is a bad friend and hates heidi anyways.

What in the world is Heidi thinking? She has to be “brainwashed”, blind, and nieve! I mean, from the first episode that we ever got to meet Spencer, I knew he was bad news. He has done nothing good for Heidi, and if he truely loves her like he claims, then true love waits. He pressured her into moving in w/ him, not only out of spite towards Lauren, but also because he wants as much “air-time” as possible on a hit tv show on MTV! I don’t believe he wants to be with Heidi, like he claims, he is just using her because she and Lauren were originally the ones that the show derived from. Like another viewer said, he wants to be famous for no reason. And this is his best chance to be able to be in the “lime-light” so to speak. Heidi needs to reevaluate her decision to spend the rest of her life w/ this “jerk” before it’s to late. What she needs to realize is that Lauren was her best friend, and they moved to LA together, and then all of a sudden she basically abandoned her over a boy that she had only been dating a few months. And, on top of that the whole world got to see him try to play her with Audrina. This will come back on her as soon as The Hills is no longer interested in following Spencer around, then he will drop Heidi like a bad habit. Everything that he is doing now is for show! He is going to steer up as much drama as possible because he knows that’s what America likes to see on Reality TV! I would like to be proven wrong for Heidi’s sake, but I believe myself and the rest of The Hills fans have him figured out. Heidi must be hiding in a closet, or better yet that awfully decorated apartment that Spencer didn’t do a very good job with his options of “art work!” Lastly if I could say one thing to Heidi, it would be, Run Heidi, Run! If I were you I would listen to my friends and get your friendships back, because you are going to need them when Spencer is finished using you! Remember, men come and go, but true friends are there for you no matter what!

I’m an avid watcher of the show and i absolutely LOVE lauren and i would be just as pissed if i heard my ex best friend and her crazy ugly version of a ken doll boyfriend started those rumors about me. Ya them saying that lauren can’t get into clubs w/out heidi..we all know thats lame and not true considering lauren’s fame over heidi’s…but the sex tape rumor.. thats going a little far. If heidi wants to be lauren’s friend again i think she should make the effort to talk to lauren, and if she honestly didn’t spread those rumors, a REAL friend would have already gotten with her and settled things. And if i was lauren, i’d keep doing what shes doing, being the better person and when things fall apart with heidi and spencer (like they will!!) heidi will come crawling back to her expecting lauren to pick up the pieces and lauren wont be there! Heidi.. ur a cute girl, but a complete idiot!

Well said Darcie! I actually used to like Heidi, but she’s just going a little too far. Honestly, she’s just doing it to get publicity. My friend, who’s never even seen The Hills, knows who Heidi and Spencer are. And with that new song out of theirs it makes perfect sense. You need to get bad press to get any press these days and its working. Its just sad its putting a rift in their friendship. Who knows. I’m probably way off, but that’s just my view on it. I’m hoping she ditches Spencer soon, too. I know they just got engaged, but she’ll wake up sooner or later. Maybe some guy can get her a REAL diamond ring and she can be a gold digger and ditch him. lol I don’t know if any of you saw the contest over at vmtv Hills site, but you can win a 1/2 carat diamond. I think its because there was an engagement on the show. Its pretty cool though cause the diamonds worth over $2,000! It ends September 10th. I CAN NOT BELIVE IT HEDI IS SO STUPID .YOU SHOULD NOT CHOOSE YOUR BOYFRIEND OVER YOU FREINDS. PLUSE SPENCER IS SUCH A LOSER IS SO UGHLY AND LC IS BEING REALLY NICE ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT WAS ME I WOULD HAVE DONE SLAPED HER ALREADY I FEEL SORRY FOR LC ,AUDIRANA,WHITNEY.
