Season 3 Episode 14: Forgive and Forget

I had to make sure to write at least a little something about this episode since it’s so huge. Episode starts off leading towards a juicy confrontation when Lauren and Whitney are asked to cover and event for Teen Vogue by the boss herself Lisa Love. By the way I’m sure the producers had Lisa come in herself and hand her the invitation which I doubt would ever happen. Whatever, I’ll try to not pick at the show.
So Whitney and Lauren get to the party which is that big declare yourself event and they JUST miss the new girl and Heidi.
Flash over to the date between Justin Bobby and Audrina. All I remember is some burping.
Back to the party…
THE BIG CONFRONTATION?! nope.
Heidi comes up and they just jump right into it. Heidi starts off polite, Lauren jumped right into “If you want to apologize I’ll talk to you.” Initially I’m like, ouch bitch… what happened to courtesy? Then I remembered as they go on with the confrontation that big sex tape thing and how Spencer and Heidi have caused alot of pain in Lauren’s life. Then I take back that “ouch, bitch” comment. It was a short confrontation but good I suppose.
Over to Audrina’s little bit in the show. So she’s got her new job not just as a receptionist but helps out with artists and was at the Jimmy Kimmel show with her co-worker who wisely suggests that Audrina should not call Justin and that she cannot go out with him that night. It’ll all be okay. So things are moving up in Audrina’s “job” which I heard she doesn’t even have but once again that’s just something I heard. I’ll just believe the tv and she is excited about her work especially after she receives some flowers from Sean Kingston who she was working with at the Jimmy Kimmel show.
NOW the big confrontation.
… yet there is still more leading up to eat. I think the instant messenger conversation on tv and showing each girl typing was priceless. nowwwww at the end of the show we’ve got the good stuff.
First off, Heidi was nice enough to meet at Lauren’s apartment and even brought her flowers.
So they Heidi wants to try and work it out and Lauren makes sure that Heidi knows exactly what Spencer’s effect and role in this whole thing has been. It’s obviously not just an issue between Lauren and Heidi yet Spencer has creep’d in there and spread some stink around.
They discuss it all yet I wanted to take out some good quotes.
Heidi: “I’m not saying that Spencer is an angel”
Hahahah yeah we all knew that, and then she goes onto apologize and say she didn’t come to fight and wanted to try and put this all behind them.
Lauren shoots back with quite possibly the quote of the season.
“I want to forgive you… and I want to forget you”
ouuuuch.
Heidi responds with her own little graceful stab, saying something along the lines as
“Yeah, well your apartment looks good, have a nice life.”
And there ya have it. An episode that took a long time to stew and manifest itself into the drama filled television well all love to watch. Thanks Lauren and Heidi… and the rest of the crew. This was a keeper.

First time I feel LC is a catty biotch. At this point I don’t hink either of them know how to be a good friend. I saw a side of Lauren that was ugly…she no longer attractive and frankly I’m over her, and she needs to get over herself. she can forgive slimy “boyz” and yet not her friend. Tape or no tape…life is too short.

them both cant be serious.
Lauren has been through alot
thanks to that girl who she used to
call her best friend. Heidi deserves
every bit of what she got. And not to
mention i think laurens quote about
forgiving and forgetting was a great
way to close off the showw.

I honestly don’t understand how people can’t see through Lauren as she’s unbelievably transparent… She seems to have control issues. It’s her own fault she lost Heidi as she pushed her away once she got with Spencer cos SHE didn’t like him and their relationship didn’t suit HER… She never thought for one second that her opinion was not important nor asked for… If Lauren was a real friend she would have seen Heidi was happy in herself and with Spencer so Lauren would have been happy for her, but she’s not a good friend. She was constantly living in her own fear of being hurt after her childish romances went wrong and thought that was an appropriate reason to intervene on her friends relationship. But Heidi is well capable of taking care of herself and her own men, she doesn’t need help and she most certainly doesn’t need someone who is gonna hold her back like Lauren tried to do. Heidi had barely mooched (kissed, snogged scored etc.) Spencer before Lauren jumped in and decided SHE didn’t want Haidi with him.
Lauren has tried to use these same tactics with Audrina too… She didn’t like Justin Bobby (either did I, but not the point!) and she didn’t hold back expressing her feelings towards him, both through words and body language. But, yet again, Lauren wasn’t prepared to just be happy for her friend who appeared to be happy in her relationship, she just tried to, more subtly, control what Audrina had with Justin and how she felt about him.
I just find Lauren is very manipulative and controlling. I reckon in time people will see this and she’ll start losing more friends. But I’m sure she’ll continue to blame others for her mistakes and flaws. She is incredibly selfish and spoiled and she truly seems to feel everything should be about her and should go her way and when it doesn’t, by christ, stand back and watch her head blow off as she tramples on everyone around her!
