Lauren Conrad opening up about her decision to leave The Hills

The queen of reality TV, Lauren Conrad, is opening up about her decision to leave The Hills (the fifth and likely final season debuts March 30 on MTV).
Combined with two years of Laguna Beach before that, she’s had a heck of a run. But having turned 23 last month, LC is anxious to move on.
“You see us on the show and we appear to have seminormal lives, but if you read any celebrity news, the cast is being swarmed by paparazzi,” she says. “I’m excited to go back to having just one life. There were times that I got them confused.”
But the decision to leave is still bittersweet.
“I’ve spent the last five years making every decision be about the show. The people I date have to be able to film, the places I work have to let us film and the places I live have to have set lighting,” said the beautiful star.
“I loved doing it and had so much fun for the past couple of years, but it came to a point where I had done it long enough.”
Lauren Conrad has kept her growing relationship with My Boys’ Kyle Howard (above) off The Hills, which was a tall order. She says the balancing act is “very difficult, because when you’re with someone, they become a very big part of your life.”
She also admits it’s stressful being followed 24-7-365.
“There have been some scenes - extra scenes that may never come out - of me getting upset, taking my mic off and locking myself in my room,” she says. “There was a time I was really stressed, and would get sick a lot. I think all of Season Three!”
Producer Liz Gateley said they’re still figuring out how to give Lauren Conrad a big send-off - and how to potentially continue the show without her.

because that’s we’re i’m from,
but we are only onto season 3 and i am waiting for the next seasons too start,
never missed an episode.

I am so sad that you are not on the show no more. You were the only reason that i watch it in the first place. But i aslo do understand that you have your own life. So be it if you wanted to live out side the camara but i hope to see you again in it to. I dont want you to go forever, and especially with whats her face that b**** on it now. I am not going to lie i really have not wacth it now that your not in it. But good luck with everything that you want to acomplish in life your a beautiful brite young women. May all your wishes come true.

i think the hills is WAY better without lauren. all she does was to make people sad and just took everyones friends away from them. to me i think she was acting like she was the leader GRRRR I HATE THAT GIRL

I Adore Lauren!She made the show!!!I refuse to watch Hiedi She’s So plastic!!And Hiedi’s mom is right she looked way better before ALL that plastic surgery!!I adore Cristin Cavellari too!!I despise Audrina & Hiedi!Ugh!!

the show isn’t the same without lauren, and kristin isn’t making it any better. kristin starts all of the drama and splits everyone up. she’s a no good slut (L) the hills isn’t even the hills anymore like, honestly? lauren’s not on, a lot more of drama, heidi starts doing drugs & just about everything else, her and spencer get divorced. the show’s going down hill. i’m glad that this is the last season, nobody wants to watch kristin and her group of whores walk around like they’re the queens. |:

Lauren was the best part of the show I just baught all the seasons and I deffinatly have to say that the hills won’t be the same wthout her… I love the show to death it gets me hooked everytime and lauren. I will for sure miss you. How is the show gonna go on without you lol
