There is a debate as to whether Lauren actually could have the Paris internship… but either way, Jason it is.
Malibu vs Paris. I’m sure alot of you would try really hard for Paris, yet there is things I’m sure we don’t know about what happened.
Short Season Recap
Overall, the show was slow. Each episode tried so hard, yet I always felt a little let down. There was nothing really to talk about as there was in Laguna Beach.

I cant believe she picked Jason over Paris… boys come and go, things like Paris only happen once in a blue moon. At the end of the day, she made her choice and if it turned out to be something she regrets, I hope she learnt something from that experience.
Just seeing Whitney meet with Lisa Love at the airport made me respect that girl. She truely is determined to make it in the world of fashion. We have to give up alot to make our dreams come true so I seriously wish LC all the best!!!!

Being a young professional I am really dissapointed in your discision to choose your boyfriend over Paris. Take it from one who make that mistake, your career will last longer than the relationship. I hope you do not regret it. Unfortunatley to the editor of Vogue she know nows were your priorities lie.

I realize now why ‘The Hills’ is so successful; Lauren is ultra-pathetic. People tune-in every Wednesday night to see her get walked all over by Jason and keep taking him back. It helps little girls understand what not to do with their lives. I knew all along Lauren was never strong enough to give up her first love, men, for success in Paris. I am going to bet that Jason wanted nothing to do with her most of the summer and by September she’s thinking, “I wish I was as independent as Whitney.”

I can’t believe she chose Jason! Augh, that’s so stupid. I don’t know why I watch this show. It’s about a bunch of girls still acting like they’re in high school. I’ve seen LC and Jason fight so many times. Jason has had a bad record from the Laguna Beach episodes of how he treated Kristen and then LC. Oh, man. I wished she made the smarter decision. And I gotta stop watching realty tv, haha.

I couldn’t belive Jason was picked, i was in a state of Shock, that just ain’t cool, there had to have been something eles that made her stay, if her decision was because of a man, i think that is very selfish of Jason, he hurt you, but you take him back, he starts a fight with Laureen, and everything is always Lauren’ fault, forget him Laureen, you can be treated by a “Real Man” alot better than that, Jason should not have started a fight with you on New Years Eve. that was bull, if a guy did that to me, i would of left his azz behind, I wouldn’t leave a party, just because he was starting a fight. Next time, let him walk away, and see what it feels like to be hurt so badly, your heart feels like it’s being ripped out of your body, then he won’t do that to you Laureen, hey good luck if there is a season two, try and make it more out going please, thanks.

I just read on YAHOO! News that Jason and Lauren called it quits. I guess Jason became really violent and Lauren called it quits. Before Season 2 even began…so the camera’s were not able to catch the breakup on film. This has been reported on realitytvnews sites, and YAHOO! and CNN News.
So I’m thinking its the real deal.
Previews for Season 2 showed Lauren in a wedding dress…so i’m confused there. I thought they would break up eventually. She should have went to Paris.

Not surprised they broke up. I hope its for good. Maybe Whitney can hook Lauren up with a job. I saw the preview of her in a wedding dress too. Maybe she’s in a modeling show. I hear her sister will be in the new Laguna Beach. Good Luck to her.

yeah, Laurens sister is what’s making the Laguna Beach season 3 ok because supposedly Lauren shows up a couple times. I remember seeing a preview of the third season with Lauren and her sister in it.

Being a young woman trying to work hard to get some great career opportunities, I was completely blown away by Lauren’s decision to NOT go to Paris. I was in a serious relationship with a guy for almost four years, but it did not work out. I dated that guy throughout my undergraduate years and I am so happy that I chose a degree over a man. Men will come and they will definitely go, but ultimately a woman MUST educate herself, grab all of the career opportunities that may come her way, and if he truly cares…he will be there to support her.

I can’t believe she chose Jason over paris either!! Seemed like she was set on going. Especailly the way he always walks all over her. She still wants him! but a part of me does understand her choice, especailly if she really loved him at the time, maybe there’s still hope for them both to end up together?

I think the show was well done all things considered. The show was not slow as many have mentioned, it was just a dose of reality.

Yeah, I agree that Jason is a creep. She can do so much better. She’s pretty and sweet, she deserves to have better. And she should have gone to Paris. Cause at least she’s not lazy and always complaining like Heidi. She really gets to me sometimes. Always quitting and stuff…
